Our client, a growing civil‑engineering and surveying team in the Indianapolis area is seeking an experienced Surveyor to support boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking projects across central Indiana. This role is hands‑on, field‑focused, and ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and craftsmanship.

What Makes an Ideal Candidate
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
•Dependable, field‑ready, and methodical in both work and documentation
•Proactive communicator who flags issues before they become downstream problems
•Organized field notes and consistent reporting habits
•Reliable and punctual — understands that field schedules depend on the crew
•Sees surveying as a craft and takes ownership of the quality of their work
Standout Qualities
•Active Indiana LS license with the ability to stamp deliverables
•Experience managing survey projects from records research through final plat
•Familiarity with county recorder and surveyor systems in central Indiana
•Demonstrated leadership of field crews or mentorship of junior technicians
This is not a large production environment — it’s a lean, high‑accountability team where your judgment and field expertise directly influence project outcomes. The work is varied, your contributions are visible, and strong performance is rewarded through a project‑based incentive structure. For a licensed or license‑track surveyor who wants ownership, autonomy, and a direct line to leadership, this role offers a meaningful next step.
