Conveyor Belt SplicerViacore Solutions, LLC is seeking a Conveyor Belt Splicer for our New Braunfels, TX location. This position is responsible for the installation and repair of conveyor belts and conveyor systems, including basic mechanical maintenance. This will involve work in the branch workshop and a significant proportion of time out at customer sites. Pay will commensurate with your belt experience. We offer an excellent benefits package that includes health, dental and vision, 401(k), vacation, sick and holiday pay.What can you expect as a Conveyor Belt Technician at Viacore?You are responsible for the repair of conveyor belts including basic mechanical maintenance.Duties include:Responding to assigned customer orders to install conveyor belts or repair as neededEnsure conveyor belts or systems are working effectively per customer orders and instructionsInstall conveyor belts using rigging gear, winches or cranes as required to fit and assemble system componentsCertify that jobs are completed within order timesLoads, delivers, installs, and specs equipment.Completes all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports, purchase card, and equipment related items).Properly identify basic conveyor system components and troubleshoot to perform basic splices, belt cleaning and pulley lagging.Serves as a technical contact for assistance with the training and ongoing technical support for other technicians and administrative staff.Performs other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsValid Drivers License and satisfactory motor vehicle claims historyBelting/conveyor experience is a mustMust be able to pass a drug and alcohol testSkills & AbilitiesMechanically inclined, hands onSafety consciousCommitted to a high standard of workmanshipDetail-orientatedPunctual, reliable, self-motivatedAble to work independently or on a teamPositive attitudeWe want to provide employees with purpose and happiness while supporting personal growth by offering:Competitive wages including overtime and double time ratesHealth, dental and vision benefits401(k) plan with employer matchingEmployee assistance programOpportunities for growth and developmentExciting and challenging workHiring bonus, relocation reimbursement and housing subsidy would be considered for the right candidateJob Type: Full-time
